• Week 7

  • Hamilton: Quiz Night

    • Where: The Don (access via Gate 3b, Hamilton Campus)

    • When: Friday 11th April, 7pm til late

    • Come along to carry or get carried in this battle of the minds. Total prize pool of $120 to win from! Nibbles also on offer.

• Teaching Recess Week 1

  • Tauranga: Speed Mating

    • Where: TBC

    • When: Saturday 19th April, 6pm til late

    • Just like speed dating, except it's for the making friends rather than dating. Don't think about the name too hard or your head will explode 🤯 (mind out of the gutter, this is a wholesome Minecraft server 😤). This event is a casual mixer with snacks and non-alcoholic drinks; a great opportunity to meet your peers. Bend that comfort zone a little and make some new friends 😊

• Teaching Recess Week 2

  • Hamilton: Bowling + Desserts

    • Where: Bowl and Social at SkyCity Hamilton, then Iguana (both on Victoria St, Hamilton CBD)

    • When: Saturday 26th April, 6pm til late

    • Cost: TBC

    • Bowl and dine. Got some mean skills to flaunt? Maybe "you get strikes every other time, I swear," or perhaps you're just looking to improve your skills. Everyone is welcome to join in, followed by desserts at Iguana.

  • Hamilton: BBQ 2.0

    • Where: The Pā entrance (opposite Te Manawa | Student Centre, Hamilton Campus)

    • When: TBC

    • Kick off the second half of the trimester with another chance to get some free sausages (with vegetarian options available), drinks, and a good old yarn.

• Week 11

  • Hamilton: Careers Fair

    • Where: TBC

    • When: TBC

    • One of our biggest events of the year! Get to know some industry employers and learn what job opportunities are available with them. We facilitate panel discussions with these industry professionals around various topics and themes so you can learn more about what it's like working in the industry. Free food (pizzas and some options for those with dietary needs), great banter, interactions with professionals, cool gadgets, giveaways... the list goes on. We strongly encourage you to make it to this event.
